Добредојдовте во Македонија
This website opened up during the blog revolution in Macedonia in the mid 2000s. The website was the main domain of the numerous free subdomains which were acquired and used with different bloggers in various fields such as technology, medicines arts, culture, politics etc until the website shut down in 2008.
Some popular subdomains which attracted many readers were:
Sinolicka. People With Down Syndrome
This blog was created and managed by Violet Association, a non-profit group created to help and support people with Down Syndrome in Macedonia. The association sought to fight for the right of these people through pressurizing the government to develop strategies and policies to care for patients.
Many governments have not done much towards building strategies to help and support these people in order to allow them to function as equal citizens with their own rights, needs and obligations.
Silent discrimination begins in childhood after one is discovered to have been born with the condition. Parents often do not have the courage to accept their child with Down syndrome. As a result, many children lose their privilege to grow up with their biological parents and siblings.
Children with Down syndrome in the majority of cases are excluded from the educational process from kindergarten up to primary and secondary schools. Employment or independent living with some support is often denied. The different examples, unfortunately sporadic and due to the perseverance and dedication of parents and humanity of individuals.
Down syndrome (trisomy 21) is one of the most common disorders of genetics (occurs in one of 700-1000 newborns) and result in disabilities and cognitive development in general medical status of these people. Some of them may have serious health problems, and some little or no difficulty. Most people with Down syndrome usually suffer from mild to moderate cognitive impairment.
Violet Association was on the forefront of advocating for acceptance of these people in the society through workshops and several awareness programs.
Several things that people with Down Syndrome would like to you already know about them:
- We have one more chromosome (21st), but the remaining 46 chromosomes are also present – as well as other people.
- Each person with Down syndrome has more in common with members of his family than with other persons with Down syndrome.
- We want to be named by our first names, not according to our difficulties. Down syndrome is only a part of all that we are: first of all – PEOPLE.
- Down syndrome causes intellectual difficulties, but it is not a disease. Some people with Down syndrome have associated health problems and they need quality treatment and care for their health and others. Though, nothing can really compare to those women who are suffering from breast cancer getting surgery for treatment. Now that’s painful, you can’t even imagine. Nowadays, people with Down syndrome live longer and healthier than ever – most live between 50 and 60 years.
- We begin to learn as babies and do not stop until we have the opportunity and good health. With good training many of us can learn to read and write and learn more than ever before.
- We have feelings, thoughts, ideas, interests and dreams. We know what we want in our lives and from it – friends, work a kind of independence to start. We love and enjoy his life when we are supported by their family and community – as, indeed, all people.
- We live with everyday challenges in communicating – but also have a lot to tell you. You may have trouble understanding you to talk a man with Down syndrome, but in most cases we are excellent speakers. Please do not listen carefully and give us a little time. In most cases a lot more understanding than we can express.
- We will make sure that we successfully work with different levels of support, some (not all) jobs: in offices, assistance in childcare, hospitals, gardening …
Oksimoron. The World’s Deepest Questions
This blog was owned by Veronica, who was located in Kavadarci, Macedonia.
I was taught never to begin conveying a message with an apology, as I detail about the content which was published on this blog previously, I’ll start with a confession. When I began working on this subdomain, I was simply appalled! The content published on the domain was nothing but an unending rants and tirades directed towards failed government institutions and the government itself. The owner of the blog must have been mad about the way ‘business’ was done in Macedonia.
I must applaud the blogger because she upheld the principle of an expositor and considered herself responsible to declare and condemn the evils deeds that were common in the government and institutions of Macedonia at that time (sometimes back in 2006 – 2008). And, through her unique way of mirroring the awkward situations and events that were happening then, and her artistic manner of putting it all together in published blog posts, the results were a fascinating blog which wasn’t just an eye opener, but attracted a good number of readers who were concerned by what was happening in their country.
Actually the name of the blog oksimoron is borrowed from the English word Oxymoron, which in literature is a term with contradictory words or elements. For instance when we talk about “fresh frozen fish” then that is an oxymoron. If the fish is frozen, then it is not fresh and if it is fresh, then it is not frozen. Other examples would include “bitter sweet”, “open secret”, “sweet agony”, “wise fool” etc.
Basically, oxymorons are used to make a situation seem awkward and ridiculous at the same time. The reason for making situation look like that by using oxymorons on the blog was to create some drama because of the conflicting roles that various institutions in Macedonia had as they tried to balance civil service and their greed for power, corruption and reckless & negligent abuse of office. This in turn evoked mixed reactions from the citizens who expected public servant and leaders to uphold their oath of office and work towards making the country much better and prosperous than harboring individualistic & materialistic concerns in their mandate to exercise their responsibility.
Below are some of her other posts with obvious tirades:
Through institutions and outside of them, stretch numerous controversies about the problems in the country. They use a variety of terms and phrases for pictorial and (probably) scoring conclusions. But somehow it seems that they have recently lost creativity in this field. Some phrases are constantly being repeated. Very popular are “the numerous issues” (well, we know problems never end, there must be issues) and their opening and closing. For illustration:
Once an MP raised the issue of eavesdropping and publishing negative content about the government operatives, which opened countless of sub-issues that required the establishment of a commission to close them. The questions, of course. A wise politician said that if you want to solve a problem – establish a committee to deal with him. So while there is still no established commission, the question stands open.
With a slight delay compared to other post-communist countries, and here raises the question of lustration. And this question can not be taken as a whole – has a bunch of sub-issues. How, who, why, when, whether? So it required modules for precise determination of parameters in defining the target group to be covered in this issue. Again Commission. At the meantime, the question stays open. Closed raft files in the Archive. But, logs are still opened.
Also repeatedly opens the question of dialogue between the majority and opposition. What previous failed (or refused) to answer during their reign, when it had the opportunity to, now ask as a matter of current info. They talk but not negotiate. It requires consensus on various concepts of action. Aligning paragraphs. If it was so useful unanimity in decision making – we had a good party system, eh? Mother demanded democracy and pluralism, when we are unable to cope with them?! We fail to accept diversity as an incentive to move. Just create new situations in the old problems. We open dilemmas and problems. Dialogues.
Open standing issue of ambassadors. Up until this issue is of such questions by circling the answers. There is the option of choice – A, B or C. Nothing easier. But, B or C does not want the answer to be under A.
However, the most thing which makes me standard, is the commonly used statement of Interior Minister – “Interior Ministry will take all necessary measures within their authority to close all open questions.” Heart, good heart indeed – closure of all ‘unnecessary’ business. And well it does.
With so many outstanding issues in the country, we are constantly exposed to the draft’s. Blows from all sides. There is no logic in this place.
Here is another piece of her work which elicited mixed reactions:
A Dysfunctional World
Feature- Officials- Operatives- Functionality
Seemingly quite simply derived words but relate and can be attached to one another in quite a logical sequence. But is it really so?
The word “feature” here is usually associated with a certain position in the system Society; the higher the position the greater the function. In simple physics, weight loss surgery is determined by the height and size (something referred to as density) hence the need for thicker features in order to have s strong system in the society.
Basically, most government institutions require strong people to carry out the said mandate. These are officials. Due to the weight of the said term, they must possess appropriate and specific personality characteristics to be carriers of the same. The function itself does nothing (though it can with the help of another adjective) but until then it is just a plain noun which is general in nature.
Official(s) is also a noun, but with a personal suite. So, we have a function, we have official. But does it work?! Do we have the verb here? Of course we do.
To have a feature and to be an official does not mean automatically that function. Each feature brings with it benefits and responsibility. It is impossible to accept one and the other rejected. The benefits are in the service of encouraging action to achieve results. Officials who needs to given powers to move things and achieve results from their actions need to work, meaning that they must be very functional. However functionality is an adjective deserves a noun to activate a verb.
I have no idea why the situation in the country are defined as complex, when using only simple to complicated sentences to describe what goes on in many public offices. It must be some kind of dysfunction.
Olpc. One Laptop Per Child
The goal of the OLPC (One Laptop Per Child) was to develop a laptop that will cost only $ 100 –a technology intended to revolutionize the way they educate children worldwide. OLPC project was meant allow children around the world new opportunities to explore, experiment and express themselves, an objective borrowed from laptop.org.
This blog was dedicated to the OLPC project and served as a resource for Macedonian educational institution to help the Macedonian public, government and institutions to better understand the benefits of introducing a laptop for every child in the Macedonian education.
Ideology behind the Production of Children’s Laptops
Over nearly two billion children in developing countries receive inadequate education or are not educated. One of the three though, does not end our fifth grade.
The individual and societal consequences of this chronic global crisis are very deep. Children exposed to poverty and isolation, as well as their parents, never learn the importance of education in their lives. At the same time, their governments struggle to keep up with the global information economy, the pressure on the low-class citizens who cannot to fend for themselves, much less to contribute to the state union, because they lack the necessary tools for that purpose.
Bridging the Equalization Gap in Education – Learning to Learn
Taking into account the resources that poor countries can allocate for education, sometimes less than $ 20 per student per year, compared with the average 7500 dollars per student spent in the US, aided by external and private funds, it would be sufficient to achieve the desired goal. Moreover, experience tells us that the growing increase in “already seen” building schools, hiring teachers, buying books and equipment is very important but not enough to solve the problem by adopting the right educational opportunities in front of large numbers of children from developing countries.
One principle idea behind the laptops was to provide a programmable tool for research to children in developing countries which would enable them gain opportunities to acquire knowledge and thus open them up to use their creative potential to solve problems.
OLPC was essentially a program to develop technology, or product in any conventional sense. OLPC was a nonprofit organization that provided resources from end to end whose goal was to enable children from the most distant regions of the world to penetrate in its potential to reveal a whole new world of ideas, and to contribute to a healthier and more productive society in the world.
History and Purpose of the Project
OLPC (initial group in the laboratory of MIT Massachusetts Institute of Technology, which later became an independent organization) proposed a design for a portable computer at a low price designed for school-going children in developing countries back in 2005 when the first prototype of the laptop was unveiled at the World Summit of the Information Society in Tunis, Tunisia. The portable computer was dignified for the education of children through the use of technology and to connect the next generation of thinkers.
The first prototypes of the XO portable computers were shipped in late 2006 to Macedonia. In February 2007 a pilot program was launched with over a thousand machines. The first discovery is planned in September 2007.
OLPC or XO-1 or earlier famous “$ 100 laptop” or “Children’s Machine” was an inexpensive portable computer created to be distributed to children around the world, especially in developing countries, in order to facilitate the access to knowledge. The laptop was developed by trade association One Laptop per Child (OLPC), a non-profit organization by the US, created by members of the MIT Media Lab to design, manufacture and distributes laptop and its software.
It was an elegant computer with low power consumption which contained flash memory instead of hard disk and used GNU / Linux operating system. With the help of mobile ad hoc networking Internet access it was possible to have internet connections on multiple machines through a single connection.
The laptops could be sold to governments and submitted to children by schools on a basis of one laptop per child. The price is expected to start from $ 135 up to $ 175 while the aim is to reach $ 100 by 2008. On average, approximately 500 machines for developers (Alpha-1) were distributed in the summer of 2006 in Macedonia. 875 prototypes again (Beta-1) were distributed at the end of 2006, and again in 2400 Beta-2 machines were distributed by the end of February 2007. Quanta Computer, the company which acquired the rights to manufacture these computers, confirmed that for 2007. They commissioned 1 million computers. Also confirmed is expected to produce 5-10 million XO computers by the end of 2007. Bearing in mind that several countries had ordered computers for students in their countries, including Argentina, Brazil, Libya, Nigeria, Rwanda, Thailand and Uruguay.
Features of the ‘Baby Laptops’
The portable computer of 100 USD (current mode then: OLPC XO-1) was produced by Quanta Computers, which had 33% market share of laptops world. Contained AMD LX-Geode CPU at 700 MHz and 256 MB RAM. There was no hard disk, but a 1GB flash memory. A dual-mode SVGA LCD screen (monochrome and color) helped saving electricity. Had built-in wireless network interface and color camera.
OLPC software was a free software, the operating system was Fedora Core , UI called Sugar. The web browser used a special version of Firefox , the processor was Abiword and e-mail using GMail. Linux BIOS-preserved of 1 MB flash ROM.
Forumimogilanovaci. The Two Municipalities
This subdomain was created to monitor and make follow-ups of forum sessions between the two municipalities of Mogila and Novaci in Macedonia. Apparently, the two municipalities had met and decided to start a joint project together, and it was worth documenting the progress of the projects by creating this subdomain. The project was to be financed were to be discussed through ‘Community Forums’, where by citizens of the two municipalities were to become actively involved in detecting problems that faced them and discuss the bests ways forward in solving them.
The projects were financing by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, with the municipalities allocating some finance from their local budgets to see the fruition of the various projects which commenced in 2009.
Among the key projects which needed to be addressed in the first sessions of the projects was the disposal of municipal waste.
The first sessions of the community forums was held on 28.09.2009 whereby a total of 151 people attended the forum. The purpose of these sessions was to familiarize the people with the program, and determine the structure and working methods to help solve problems that the communities were facing. It was the first type of inter-municipal forum that was meant to show how two different municipalities would come together and find a common ground to work on the same problem jointly; in this case, the management of waste.
The budget of the first program was 8 million, with the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation contributing 6 million and each municipality was to contribute an addition of 1 million each.
Through the participation of the citizens, the forum was able to establish 11 working tables to be involved in the projects, namely:
- Municipal Administration
- Information Technology
- Business Sector
- Local Community
The next forum, which was meant to be a follow-up of the first, was held in 26.10.2009 in the municipal hall of Novaci. The purpose of this forum was to identify and define the problems of their project in waste collection that the citizens of the two municipalities faced. For main problems were located:
- Insufficient infrastructure in waste collection
- Failure of landfills and the emergence of landfills
- Problem with manure and trash in populated areas
- Low environmental awareness
After identifying these areas of difficulties, four groups were formed whose task was to investigate the issue and present their finding for action to take place.
The next forum was held in 22.11.2009 in Novaci, whereby the four selected groups presented their studies and their recommendations of the solutions to the problems identified in the previous forum. After analysis by the participants on the proposed solutions, the forum decided to form another set of 4 working groups to prepare concept for the solutions which would form the basis of the projects. The groups were to investigate:
- Lack of organized waste collection vehicles and the establishment of PCE;
- Raise environmental awareness;
- Dislocation of illegal dumps;
- Purchase of garbage cans and containers.
The concept of the groups formed was to include:
- DESCRIPTION OF THE PROBLEM – Provide a description of the problem that the project will work as it would present the current situation / problem facing the target group / users (i.e. those targeting this problem) and expose the consequences that they face as a result of this problem. The description of the problem should be a sound basis why this project is important and needs be realized.
- OBJECTIVE (S) – Talk about the goal that you want this project to achieve. What improvement are we seeking to achieve with the implementation of this project? Aim / project goals should be realistic, achievable and concrete.
- USERS – Who will feel the benefits of this project? Which groups of citizens would enjoy the benefits, changes and improvements resulting from the project? Whether your project reach broader constituencies? Is it equally beneficial to the needs and interests of all groups in the community – men, women, youth, persons with disabilities, ethnic groups?
- DRAFT DECISION / REMEDIES – you plan to do in this project which will solve the problem you are working and will improve the situation in your community? What are the possible solutions / activities you intend to take and what approach you plan to apply?
- HOLDER / PARTNERS – Who should be the initiator of the project, i.e. to manage the complete implementation of it (the project activities and financial management)? Will there be a partnership or coordination among LGUs, NGOs and / or business sector? In case of a partnership project between multiple organizations / institutions which is the role of each partner?
- BUDGET (total amount) – Please state the total amount of funds that you think is needed to implement this project!
The groups were then presented with experts reposts and publications to help them formulate the necessary policies, and this helped them come up with practical strategies, which eventually enabled them tackle the problem of garbage collection jointly.
Blogot. Blogging about Criticism Against Media Houses.
This blog was named BI and was owned by Biljana Kochoska who was a psychologist by profession. She was based in Skopje.
On this subdomain where she started blogging back in February 2006, she expressed her much criticism against the media houses and the way they conduct business in Macedonia, and maybe much criticism to the production and distribution on American movies in Macedonia. According to her, there is a fertile ground of hypocrisy in the production of motion picture.
In her maiden post, she published a post intended to criticize Hollywood.
Hollywood – the Scared Forest of Propaganda
In the post, she tries to depicts that movies like other mediums for entertainment or other artistic productions such as literature, should embrace and reflect on reality that captures the social, political and psychological development or thought of humanity because that the spirit of the existence of humanity. Again, the spirit of humanity is inseparable and mutually connected with the development of science and technology, which in turn affects the technical part of art i.e. improving the way of expression as can be seen in the development of the film industry which has always been evolving.
in her monologue tirade she argues out that as much as the film industry is one of the youngest entrant in the field of fine arts, have had much influence on the viewers that reflecting the reality of humanity; basically motion pictures are produced with the sole aim of gaining commercial traction than morally educating the viewers.
She goes ahead to cite that the Joseph Burstyn, Inc. v. Wilson(1952) Supreme Court’s Judgment which was monumental in declaring that the film industry is an important medium of communicating ideas and that on that basis has the right to freedom of speech and freedom of expression. She argues that this judgment was made purely on the basis of the commercial aspect of films and never took into account the eroding norms of the society in situation where sacrilegious films are show to the public.
The court’s decision never took into consideration that fact that ideas have, since time immemorial, been and will be significant factors in molding and influencing human thought and behavior, and the fact that millions of people who visit movie theaters to watch these movies are young, inexperienced and in most cases under-educated or mentally balanced individuals who can easily be swayed with what they see and believe that it’s the true reflection of the society. Yet, Hollywood expects everyone to have complete confidence in them.
She adds that, like any good propagandist, Hollywood has learned the act of systematic announcement of information designed and delivered as a simple entertainment is generally one of the most effective forms of propaganda. Furthermore we must recognize that one of the most important differences between democratic and fascist totalitarian states is that democracy is not trying to control the masses through the use of military force, but through information. Thus, control of a certain important form of communication in a democratic society is a critical factor in determi9ning the opinion and behaviors of the members of that society, because such communication medium helps to determine the nature of the information that citizens are exposed to. That shapes the lives of those members even when the information is totally misleading and against any form of basic human ethics.
Saint who Learned to Fall in Love with Materialism
In yet another controversial post, BI goes to unleash her resentment on how the western culture is trying to influence culture of other nations with the support of media outlets who auction these cultures of western civilization that are meant to enrich the greed.
She argues that in the modern consumer society, people are observed only as units which in some way affect the change of business graphs of large corporations. These corporations will always find ways to target these confused people with the objective of convincing them to buy their products.
Western society knows how to influence and entice people to consume through various promotional methods. For instance, even before Christmas Day (which is the biggest holiday in the consumers society that achieves the greatest profit for the full year), there was the American holiday of Thanksgiving. To make it a buyers’ day, corporation introduced new shopping concepts for this holiday referred to as Black Friday and Cyber Monday, which came along with huge discounts to ensure that buyers will flock shopping outlets. With the internet, they ensured that shoppers globally will too be enticed to shop, and they do.
Then they introduced other holidays: New Years, Halloween, Valentine’s Day and sold their ideas globally. Many people will never take a moment to think that these bunches of marketing holidays even have no basis in their culture, but the theories have been formulated to enable big corporations trade their wares. Most of these holidays exist solely to boost sales even for many products unrelated to the core “message” of the holidays. Most of these consumer-celebrated holidays have to do more with the faith of materialism, corroded values and pathetic declining cultures.
The worst thing about all this madness is the fact that it is being peddled by media outlets whose influence in humans is insurmountable and thus can easily manipulate many unsuspecting consumers as they glorify the consumers society in which all they love is to move numbers a they pocket more cash in their commercials.
Vankovska. Self Realization Of HumanKind.
This subdomain was owned by Prof. Biljana Vankovska who was a Professor of Philosophy. Among her advocacy in her blog, she always championed for the self-realization of humankind.
Born in Skopje in 1959, Macedonia where she was raised and schooled, she achieved great success in education to become one the best student in her generation. She pursued her degree in the Faculty of Law (political and administrative sciences) where she graduated in 1982 as the second best student overall. She did her MA and completed by 1987 and a doctorate by 1992 where she pursued a doctorate in philosophy. Her research papers in doctorate regarded the role of military in politics.
She started blogging in 2008 and one of her post that she published on her blog which captured the attention of many readers was her perception about how the year 2009, as well as the end of that decade was to Macedonia. Below was her view:
A Statement of Time
The general assessment is that the passing year and the almost gone decade was just one of those many would like to forget. Of course, I cannot generalize and there were lighter moments and uglier ones, but at the end of each year there is usually a balance that we try to achieve. Unfortunately, in my opinion, 2009 was a year that builds on all the past and is a link in a series of years to come.
Institutions and politicians, working continuously to determine the shape of the political system; the absence of democratic political culture, the influence of the international community and so on all of which have not helped most of the common citizenry in the country. The citizens remain largely observers of the political circus. Assembling ordinary voting machine or engaging in forum pointless debate, especially when laws are passed in principle fast fingers, because it asked Olli Rehn (due to benchmarks) or another government.
To our misfortune, the drama associated with the name issue and European integration has far overshadowed the more important questions about the quality of life, economic development, while not leaving us as geese in the fog sensing what is really going on with these negotiations because of alleged “delicacy of the negotiation process.
As part of our national folklore we were dealing with everything, except the most important issues. We have fought inappropriate conduct “debates” and internal divisions in historic, religious or ethnic grounds, and at one point we even became a nation of “encyclopedists”. The government preferred to communicate directly with “the people” in the most bizarre way, while the opposition led an internal battle with old leaders already seeing “strengths” in themselves while various separations and transfers are considered a strategy of self empowerment. Albanians are competing among themselves: “who is the better Albanian”. It’s baggage with which we enter into the New Year, even decade. I would say, without much hope to see at least something truly a new democratic plan.
Roxane. Saving the World
The name of the blog was Save the World from Seljaci, Journalists and Destruction! Seljaci is a clique used by the Croats and the Greeks to refer to a breed of people who are never focused in developments of their regions but love criticizing. For instance, people who may have migrated from a country and are in Diaspora, can be quick to criticize how affairs are handled back at home as opposed to the countries where they are all in the while contributing little or nothing to improve situations back at home and thus can be called the seljaci in diaspora.
Back to the contents of the blog, the blogger used to advocate for changes in the way affairs of Macedonia and the world at large are usually handled. There are a lot of lies that emanate from sectional advocacy of development among the less fortunate in the society, most of whom have no choices but to grab what is being provided to them by the leaders and propagated by anti-development forces such as reckless journalism which never question about bad leadership.
The bloggers even observes that in irresponsible journalisms, there are more truths, and truths are different and people have to choose which fits true as peddled to them. In essence, most of those who bicker the loudest while they are not helping in any way, just try to formulate their position in the society so as to ensure that they remain relevant regardless of failed structures and institutions in the society.
There were numerous posts on this subdomain all which were directed to the various personalities and institutions which fail to uphold the basic right and freedoms of humanity, but instead they just position themselves to grab the handouts that will benefit individuals as opposed to the whole society.
Razvigor. Comics, Cartoons, Computers.
The name of the blog was Razvigor and the blogger was called Filip Stojanovski. He was passionate about blogging, and this explains the reason as to why his subdomain attracted thousands of backlinks as well as a large cross-section of readers. His major blogging topics included comics, animation, current news & events, history, paleontology and most importantly computers & the internet.
For instance in one post back in February, 2006, he blogs and criticizes the affair of cartoons of Prophet Muhammad which were trending in the internet then according to him, as much as there was freedom of speech and expression widely in every state, there was need for inter-religious tolerance for peaceful coexistence between humankind despite the differences in religious background and beliefs.
He presumed that it was medieval for someone to find it funny at poking holes in the religion of others, because that would easily trigger hatred between the different people who profess different religions.
He also had several posts about comics and some of his best include comics from Alan Ford, who was his favorite comic writers and in the various posts he attests that he had never missed any issue of Alan Ford’s comics since he was in college.
Volanskopje. How Government Policies and Regulations Affected Citizens
This subdomain belonged to Alexander D. who was an economist by profession. When he started blogging on this subdomain back in 2006, he featured content based on economic content and the role of the internet in shaping economies. However, as he continued blogging, he extended his content to feature other areas of interest in his life in several topics which includes: Photography, Culture, Archaeology, Politics and Churches & Monasteries.
On his blog, he used to publish content about how the various government policies and regulations affected the citizens such as increases in taxation, privatization of public institutions, effects of business acquisitions to economy or the various trade agreements signed by the government of Macedonia with other members of the European community. For instance, there is one post in which he objects the government moves in promoting MK as a tourist destination, because the promotional methods cited were not practical. He expressed his fears that channeling money to non-practical cause in the name of promoting tourism, could impeded the funding of infrastructural development, yet at the end of it all, the cause of tourism promotion would never realize its fruition.
As he advanced on blogging, he mainly blogged about monuments and the need to preserve them as it is through them that the culture and heritage of MK would be passed down to posterity. He also talked about how monuments can help in archaeological studies given that MK was at the heart of Greek civilization centuries ago and hence stood strategically to help researchers and other archaeologists in their work.
Bregalnicastip. Football Clubs
This blog was created and managed by a football enthusiast who used to update the blog with information and news about FK Bregalnica Stip, a football club based in Stip, Republic of Macedonia.

Vbb. In the Music Industry
VBB was a musician who attracted a huge audience back in the early 2000s when he was actively involved in music. By mid 2000s when the blogosphere of Macedonia was starting to open up, he decided to open a blog which later enabled him and his colleagues create an undisputable brand in the music industry by connecting music fans through interactive posts. On the blogs, the fans could easily get updated about what was happening in the music industry as well as other news and events of other musicians.
As the blog revolution exploded in the mid 2000s, VBB had strategically positions themselves as one of the most important players in the entertainment industry in general and they decided to open up an online show- Radio Blog. The show was broadcast various mainstream radio stations in Skopje, Macedonia and it helped boost music careers of other artistes as well as the social life of other participants in the entertainment industry who appeared as guest personalities in the guest radio shows with other mainstream media.
VBB have been able to feature in various news articles as well as in several fanzines which enabled them propel and advance in the career and blogging which they have maintained to date by blogging at vbb.mk.
