A Little Bit of Blog Therapy
This blog was called Blog Therapy. It was owned by Moby; who started blogging way back in 2004. He was passionate about blogging and connecting with other bloggers. This was because he believed that blogging was healthy and alive as opposed to digests in newspapers; whom he viewed that even though they made attempts to showcase good intentions, there efforts were aimed at scoring third party popularity.
In essence, he meant that most seasoned journalists and other media personalities never wrote what was in there heart. They never clearly depicted the correct image of what was happening across Macedonia; and the world in general. But they were constrained to write editorials following rules of their bosses. Not to mention, they were out there to please them if at all they were to get a paycheck; or perhaps a promotion.
On the contrary
Bloggers were out there for the good course. However, they always gave a true opinion as of what was happening. They would condemn evils and atrocities in the world with no fear of reprisal from anyone. He believed that bloggers had good intentions at heart straight from the word go.
Moby therefore felt the need to honor the best bloggers in different fields. He did so by commending them and at times linking back to their pages; so that their work would be exposed to more readers. Actually he never left a link to any internet edition of newspapers as well as other online news sites. This was because he never believed in them
He also used to blog about what was happening in MK and the neighboring countries. Since MK was at the center stage of establishing major infrastructural developments & networks; as well as institutions after gaining independence in 1991; he used his blogging skills to let the world know the major economic as well as social developments that were happening in the country. He also condemned laziness, corruption and bigotry in public officials.
Kalian. The Rights of Freedom of Speech
This blogged belonged to Kalina; where she used to pen down her opinion of the world. In her maiden posts, she quotes Herbert V. Prochnow – “A great many people mistake opinions for thoughts.” This clearly shows that she intended to write about her perception of a better world.
Kalian used famous quotes, work of literature, poems, documentaries as well as other stories to bring her point home or to make criticism about anything that she felt was not right. For instance she once expressed her opinion about the right of freedom of speech.
She claimed that people should be free to express what they understand as true and has standards. On the contrary, people usually express what they presume to be true with no logic or scientific proof. She was then critiquing the western media, CNN BBC and others for their perception of what goes on in third world countries. She claimed that one thing that enters the eye is superficially the understanding of “problem” and on the other hand the western media doesn’t need to “defend” their arguments about what they have superficially seen or had before identifying the underlying course.
There is no need to attack the image of a person via blog
Also, there is no need to defame ions character in public; when you are not exposed to the person’s aspect of the so-called problems because you know nothing about them. This is a case of what happens in domestic problems. You never know what happens between a husband and his wife and you need not be the first to judge them or condemn there marriage.
However, she was saying this as she tried to condemn publishing the cartoons of Muhammad online which she saw as a direct attack to Muslims which was meant to offend their religion. She expresses states that there is never any justification of mocking Muslims. Nonetheless, she further notes that from any religious aspects, the ridicule of characters and work of any religion is forbidden and sacrilegious and must be prohibited even if there are those who just consider any representation of God as just a phenomenon with no logical proof.
There are other instances where she also critics various government institutions and operatives and other times she lauds them.
She also loved music, literature as well as taking places in outdoor activities and she would often blog about her outdoor experiences.
