Society, Equality and Economic Development
Femgerila. Economic Development
This subdomain belonged to a feminist; who advocated for equal right of women in social, political as well as economic policies in Macedonia.
Being a feminist; she usually received a lot of negative comments from her readers. They were mostly males. She was never deterred to fight for the place of women in the society. There was one particular post about her that really enthralled me.
She wrote the post as she wanted to distance feminism from lesbianism; which many of her avid readers related together. She needed to let them know that by being a feminist; she wasn’t advocating for female homosexuality. But the rights of women in the society. Along with their role in shaping the economy.
She clearly indicated that for any country to have a vibrant economy. Then, it was vital for the said government to understand; as well as appreciate the importance of creating strong interactions between gender relations. As well as national & ethnic processes. This is because one aspect that most interactively binds these categories is biological interaction. Legitimate paternity is critical to mould offspring to grow; as well as become responsible in the society. Hence, be at a better position to contribute more towards economic development of a nation.
Women should never be just viewed a reproduction machines
They should be respected as productive part of both the family life; as well as crucial in economic empowerment of a country. By creating strong marital institutions; where women are respected and empowering them; a vibrant economy can be attained.
On the other hand; lesbianism is a threat that hovers over biological reproduction of the nation. Lesbianism can easily yield from weak parental interaction between both husbands and wife. Especially when women are viewed like objects in the society; rather than part of it.
Lesbianism can also be a threat to the male gender; which can in turn lead to rise of homosexuality among the male folks. To halt such negative consequences in the society; there is need to treat each other as equal partners in the society. Along with in parental obligation; as well as national responsibilities.
Bukarski. Literature
This subdomain was owned by Alex Burkarski. He was and is an avid reader of several books; which according to his blog; one can’t fail to notice that they helped him shape his life. As well as perception about how people should live.
His blog was basically about literature, short stories, art, culture poetry as well as history. He used to his blog to review books that he had read. Also, to give a perception about them; as well as encourage his blog visitors to read the various books themselves. Learn a lesson or two. We all know how literature can help us shape our lives. Along with how to live a morally upright life as well; at the same time as respect others in the society. This must be one of the reasons why most of his books were about literature. There was always a lesson that he wanted his visitors to learn.
In one of his beautiful piece of work; where he was condemning abortion, he starts blogging by quoting Mother Teresa:
“Life is an opportunity, benefit from it – Life is beauty, admire it –
Life is bliss, taste it – Life is a dream, realize it – Life is a challenge, meet it – Life is a duty, complete it – Life is a game, play it.
Without a doubt, life is a promise, fulfill it – Life is sorrow, overcome it – Life is a song, sing it – Life is a struggle, accept it – Life is a tragedy, confront it – Life is an adventure, dare it – Life is luck, make it – Life is too precious, do not destroy it – Life is life, fight for it.”
Nonetheless, in this post; he was fighting against stigmatization that young mothers who got pregnant; without having prior planned for motherhood; were intimidated to the point of seeking abortion. In his opinions, the society was to blame for this. The reason is because it has the moral obligation of encouraging young people not to be afraid of parental obligations.
However, the society needs to provide a conducive atmosphere for young parents; by helping them to get back to school. Also to take up the parental responsibilities. As well as pursue a worthy career.
In his opinions; young mothers should get more benefits from the society; as well as be protected from blackmail of their bosses in situations; where unmarried women are mistreated after getting pregnant by their employers. And at times, dismissed from work; or replaced because employers claim that they can’t warrant a maternity leave for an unmarried woman.
There were other awesome posts on his blog; most drawn from examples of the books that he had gone through; as well as mirrored to the society.
